If you’re an Android user with an unlock pattern, your phone may not be as safe as you think. Some researchers, “found that six-point Android unlock patterns can be recreated by about two out of three observers who see it performed from five or six feet away after a single viewing.” Just 1/10 could do the same for a six digit iPhone code. If you don’t want to give up the pattern but you want a little more safety, you can actually turn off the feedback lines that show up when drawing it.
