Popular youth TV channel Nickelodeon is venturing into AR and VR with the goal of drawing kids away from Netflix and YouTube. Engadget said, "Paramount, the company needs to maintain its market dominance and take steps to ensure its longevity, and noted that 'your odds of getting a fat hit are greater if you have more at-bats.'" Its VR bid is a multiplayer game with social elements called SlimeZone. Oh, and they are adding a remake of Blue's Clues. Awesome!
